- Waste Treatment: GFI has invested over 5 million DHS in an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) which treats waste water before discharging it into the JAFZ waste line.
- The ETP has treated 400 Cubic meter water per day.
- GFI has plans to transform solid residue from production into fertilizer.
- GFI is certified for HACCP (from Holland & Germany), ISO 9001, and IS 14001 and currently working towards ISO 18001.
