Gulf Food Industries – California Garden (GFICG) runs a manufacturing and production plant that is one of its kind in the Middle East. The factory, set up in 1989, boasts an enviable production record that accelerates on an annual basis by utilizing the world’s latest technologies, which are continuously updated.
To date, GFICG’s factories run at a capacity of 700,000 cans per day, have achieved constantly-changing milestones of hundreds of millions cans since 1989 and have phenomenally grown from hundreds of thousands to millions of cartons a year.
GFICG’s plant structure is remarkable. It includes three factories: One for can production, one for food production and an effluent water treatment facility. Additionally, it incorporates a quality control facility as well as a research and development lab. Each of the facilities are equipped with world-class technologies that enable the plant employees, along with the GFICG teams, to develop innovative, environmentally-friendly, premium products for the consumers and private labels partners.
As the heart of the organization, the GFICG plants are conveniently located inside the GFICG headquarters office, thus enabling the two to work together to develop year-round efficient results. As a result of this proximity and cooperation of the office members and the factories, GFICG gave birth to the first of their kind national ready-to-eat beans recipes and peeled beans, as well as white-lacquered and easy-open cans.
As GFICG continues to grow throughout the years, so do its production and manufacturing facilities at a rate of over ten percent a year.
