The last few years have seen Gulf Food Industries - California Garden (GFI) create an exceptional enterprise identity. From the beginning, we - at GFI - have decided to maintain continuous progress in product innovations, technological advancements and development of human resources. This came mainly as a result of the capital and resources supplied to purchase and continually upgrade our cannery to a world-class operation.
Powered by a team of about 200 skilled employees, GFI went from production of a standard core product range to the now diverse value-added range of over thirty two different bean products. It has also extended its brand by establishing trade relations with renowned producers of canned products, thus bringing over two hundred other premium products to the region.
We are a high-growth organization sustaining more than 20% growth over the last three years. Our objective is to strengthen this position and significantly increasing our presence in regional and international markets by maintaining our operating policy based on professionalism and teamwork.
GFI currently markets its product in more than 32 countries world wide through its network of distributors, who have an important part to play in the company’s growth. A GFI employed market manager, who is in constant touch with the market and has his hands on the pulse of the market, also serves each of the key markets. This helps us to anticipate the changing needs of our consumers and respond to the same at the earliest, making us a leader in our category.
We intend to maintain highest product quality to meet the needs of our customers and increased product demand owing to the ongoing research undertaken at GFI. This research and development component has led to the fruition of our well-known range, which continues to expand alongside the development of other unique flavored products and private international labels.
