In 2003 Gulf Food Industries acquired the Americana® brand for its canned product, its equity and successful distribution network. This acquisition was motivated by GFI’s clear vision of growth by segmentation of its current markets of Middle East and North African and capturing a larger share of the global canned food market, by expanding into new territories of Africa, Australia and Americas. It is strategically evident to G.F.I that the future growth of the company lies in nurturing the Americana Brand. |
