Gulf Food Industries has established an integrated management system accredited by HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) for safety ISO 9001 for quality internal process, ISO 14001 for environmental management and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Series) to better meet the Middle East market demand, streamline the production of its FDA-approved goods for export to the US and account for variability in quality, quantity timing, shelf-life and cost. The end GFI easy-to-open product is delivered to the consumer in high quality packaging that matches its contents. Gulf Food Industries uses prime tinplate to the highest specifications, utilizing high-quality food grade lacquers (white and gold on the inside of the can) to ensure safe interaction with the packaged food. The cans are available in wide variety that ranges from 200g, 400g, 450g to 500g with plain printed and easy-to-open ends that adhere to GFI’s policy to deliver quality and ready-to-eat canned foods.
Additionally, GFI has recently upgraded its information control system by linking manufacturing to sales as well as finance and warehousing to “Oracle 11i”.
